Frequently Asked Questions
What is virgin hair?

Virgin Hair is hair that has not been dyed, bleached, permed, straightened or chemically treated in any way. All of our hair is in its natural state when cut and guaranteed to be in correct cuticle alignment.

What is machine weft?

Machine weft is sewn using a special sewing machine specifically designed for stitching wefts. Machine Wefts are especially made for sewing weaves and made with one continuous track which varies in length based on the length and texture of the hair. Always make sure a high quality hair extension glue to seal the ends when they are cut. If the ends are not glued properly, shedding may occur. Machine wefts will not unravel when cut, if sealed properly.

How is hair measured?

Straight hair is measured in its natural state, whereas, the wavy or curly hair is measured when stretched. Keep in mind your size and frame when deciding on a length. An 18" weave will fall longer on a person 5' as opposed to a person 5' 11".

How long does hair last?

Virgin hair will last for up to a year with proper maintenance. Some customers report using the same hair extensions for up to two years with no decrease in quality. Customers can do this multiple times with proper maintenance.

How to care for virgin hair?

When you receive your shipment remove your product from the package and
inspect each piece carefully. We take great pride in our product and it is 100% guaranteed

Pre Wash:

1.Gently rinse your hair extensions with warm water until they are saturated. Apply a generous amount of Shampoo to the hair, while holding the weft at the base, gently shampoo in a downward motion working shampoo from the top down. Rinse thoroughly. Condition hair in sam
e manner and allow time to air dry.
Care After Install Shampoo:

2. Distribute a generous amount of Shampoo through your entire scalp and massage your scalp with the tips of your fingers (not your fingernails). Gently shampoo in a downward motion working shampoo from the top down. This rubbing action and the resultant friction will loosen dirt, product residue and dandruff which can then be rinsed away. Thoroughly rinse your scalp afterwards, still massaging with your finger tips as you do so.
Condition / Hydrate:

3.Conditioning the hair is vital to its maintenance. After you have shampooed and thoroughly rinsed your hair apply a generous amount of Conditioner to the hair. Gently comb hair with a wide tooth comb, to assure even coverage. Rinse conditioner from your hair with warm water and gently towel or air dry.

Mid Week Wash:

4. Make sure to Shampoo your hair at least once a week. If you lead an active lifestyle, use excessive product or feel your hair had become dry substitute conditioner for shampoo during your weekly wash. Wash your hair in a downward motion, working conditioner from the top downward. Use a good quality shampoo, your stylist can advise you what product is best for your hair.

Styling:

5. Always keep your extensions tangle free. Brush or comb gently and avoid any excess tension. Always comb or brush hair from the bottom up, small sections at a time. The more careful you treat your extensions the longer they will last.

Heat / Styling Tools:

6. Heat is your hair’s biggest enemy. The more you use on it, the shorter the life span of your hair. Use heat in moderation. Do not use high temperatures. High temperatures can damage the hair, including permanently altering the hair texture.

** If you perm, tint, bleach or cellophane the hair, you do it at your own risk. We do not guarantee any hair that has been chemically altered. If you must chemically alter it, then be sure to do a test strand first. This will allow you to test how the hair will hold up to the chemicals.

Can I go swimming with my virgin hair?

You are able to go swimming in pools, hot tubs and at the beach. However, you should wash your hair after you go swimming to avoid moisture in your hair being removed  from the salt water. It is best to wear the hair down and spray in some conditioner before and after swimming.

Can my virgin hair be bleached?

Virgin hair can be dyed and/or bleached, however you still have to be careful. Extra care will be needed because the hair is not attached to the scalp and does not retain its own moisture. You must be mindful to keep the hair hydrated and moisturized. Also, when you dye and/or bleach your virgin hair the hair is no longer virgin (it will then be chemically processed ). We recommend that you have a professional bleach your virgin hair.

Can virgin wavy/curly hair be flat ironed?

Virgin wavy hair can be worn curly by using a curling wand, or straight when it's flat ironed. When our virgin wavy hair is flat ironed bone straight, it reverts back to it's original texture after it's washed & air dried. This texture is truly versatile and the most popular.
